A snapshot of where we've been, what we've built, and the people who made it happen.
Six months of design, engineering, and the moments worth remembering.
Elliott Bay Design Group is a 100% employee-owned naval architecture and marine engineering firm — designing vessels that move people, cargo, and industries across North American waters.
From our studios in Seattle, New Orleans, and Ketchikan, our teams of architects and engineers partner with operators, shipyards, and agencies to deliver new builds, conversions, and lifecycle support.
We work the way good ships are built: with rigor, collaboration, and a deep respect for the craft. Every project is a chance to leave the fleet better than we found it.
"We don't just draw vessels — we steward them, from first sketch to final voyage."
After years on the waterfront, our Seattle studio moved into a new home at 101 Yesler Way — closer to clients, closer to the water, and built for how we work today.

Six features from the last six months — recognition, storytelling, and the people behind the work.
